Gucci has teamed up with graffiti artist Trevor “Trouble” Andrew for their Fall 2016 collection. Trevor (GucciGhost) got his name one Halloween when he decided to cut two holes in a Gucci sheet. BOOM GucciGhost was born! He quickly began spraying the double G logo on trash cans and walls, catching the eye of Gucci’s president and CEO Alessandro Michele.
“I saw the way Trevor was using the symbol of the company and I thought it was quite genius. It’s completely different than the idea of copying. It’s the idea that you try to [take to] the street the symbols of the company,” Michele told WWD
